Tamara Harper has been crafting and stitching since she was a child. Working slowly in solitude to create detailed, hand-lettered, and hand-embroidered pieces is where she is most comfortable. Tamara also enjoys sewing at the machine, utilizing upcycled upholstery fabric remnants to create one-of-a-kind bags. On occasion, Tamara partners with local artists to offer collaborative works.

Tamara's clients include Country Living, Martha Stewart Weddings, the Clinton Foundation, and Madewell. Tamara writes songs and sings in the band Style Shop. You can listen to her TEDxBirmingham talk online. Tamara’s book, Living Restfully: A Skeptic’s Guide to Raising Children Screen-Free is available on Amazon. Tamara lives in Birmingham, AL with her partner Jamison and their two children, Isaiah & Eloise.
